One of the core pillars of Redeeming Grace Church is to "equip the saints for the work of service".  Every true Christian should have a desire to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, to bear fruit for His glory, to be able to defend the faith and explain key Bible doctrines and theology, and to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

There are three specific times that we come together for equipping.

Sundays at 9:00 a.m.

To help the saints to be better equipped to follow Jesus Christ, live obediently by His grace and to reach the lost, we are beginning a 3-book series by Paul Washer on Sunday mornings prior to the worship servicve..

  • Knowing The Living God - 47 chapters, taking 2 per week - CURRENT 9:00 a.m. Sunday study
  • Discerning The Plight Of Man - 26 chapters
  • Discovering The Glorious Gospel - 34 chapters

Sundays 10:15 a.m.

We meet for worship and the preaching of God's Word on Sundays at 10:15 a.m..  We have been going through the Gospel of John since January 2017.  Tom preaches expositionally, verse by verse, drawing out the rich truths of God's Word and applying them to our lives.  Our morning worship consists of a call to worship from God's Word, hymns (old and newer) which are rich with Biblical truth and reality and faithful to the doctrines of grace, reading a chapter through a book of the Bible, prayer, and preaching the Word of God.  Our normal service lasts between 1-1/2 - 2 hours.  We are not in a hurry.  We want to worship God and we want Him to speak to us through His Word and work in our lives, conforming us more and more into the image of Jesus Christ.

Thursday evenings at 6:30

We meet for prayer and time in God's Word.  For the first 30-45 minutes prior to prayer, we are going through the booklet by Paul Washer, "The Gospel of Jesus Christ".  To enhance this teaching, Tom will bring teaching from John Murray's book, "Redemption - Accomplished and Applied".  Then we pray until around 8:30 - 9:00.

Every Christian must have a solid handle on the gospel of Jesus Christ.  This includes such rich doctrinal truth as redemption, atonement, propitiation, expiation, righteousness, justification, calling, election, predestination, adoption.  The true Christian loves Biblical teaching and doctrine, loves theology, loves to dive into scripture and learn and grow and be challenged by the truth of God's Word, the Bible.
